Global Christmas
What is Global Christmas?
At The Ascent Church, we partner closely with five incredible ministry partners around the world. In most cases, we are one of the only churches that supports them year after year, which makes these relationships especially meaningful. Each December, we focus on these partners through Global Christmas—celebrating what God is doing, sharing ministry updates, and inviting our church family to pray and give.
- November 30: PEACE International in Uganda
- December 7: Good News Ministries in India
- December 14: ROTOM in Ethiopia
- December 21: ZIMNET in Zimbabwe
- December 28: City to City Church Planting Movement in Germany
The funds given during Global Christmas are the primary financial support we provide these partners throughout the year. When we all give generously, we are directly supporting these ministries who rely on The Ascent Church to continue their work. Thank you for your prayers, encouragement, and financial gifts on their behalf. Everyone who calls The Ascent home can be honored to be part of the amazing work God is doing around the world.
Last Christmas, we gave a generous $85,000 and were thrilled to witness how God used our gifts to impact the lives of thousands of people through the gospel-centered ministries of our global partners. This year, could we raise even more- $80,000, $90,000, or even $100,000?

Making an Impact Across the Globe
Our global priorities are based on the Great Commission in Matthew 28:18-20 and Jesus’ words in Acts 1:8. We seek to accomplish these priorities by coming alongside strategic global partnerships and select missionaries that facilitate church planting, leader development and community transformation – primarily through the local church – in some of the most spiritually needy places in the world. We are committed to what we call “The 4 C’s” to make decisions regarding allocation of resources and people.
