What is Global Christmas?
Here at The Ascent Church, we have close relationships with incredible ministry partners around the world. The month of December is when we focus on celebrating four specific global partners, raising financial support for them, and sharing their ministry updates with the church. We call this annual celebration Global Christmas. Here’s the schedule for December’s Global Christmas highlights:
December 1: ZIMNET in Zimbabwe
December 8: Mittendrin in Germany
December 15: ROTOM in Ethiopia
December 22: PEACE International in Uganda
The funds we raise during Global Christmas are the support we can offer these specific partners during the year. When you and your family give generously to Global Christmas, you are supporting all four of these incredible ministries who rely on The Ascent Church to minister. Thank you for your prayers, encouragement, and financial gifts on behalf of these incredible partners!

Making an Impact Across the Globe
Our global priorities are based on the Great Commission in Matthew 28:18-20 and Jesus’ words in Acts 1:8. We seek to accomplish these priorities by coming alongside strategic global partnerships and select missionaries that facilitate church planting, leader development and community transformation – primarily through the local church – in some of the most spiritually needy places in the world. We are committed to what we call “The 4 C’s” to make decisions regarding allocation of resources and people.
